Caring for your Flowers
Here are a few pointers to help to ensure the best vase life for your bouquet and keep your flowers looking their best…
Start with a clean vase filled with fresh water.
Take off any leaves that will sit below the waterline…this is because they decay and cause bacteria to form.
Cut around 2.5 cm off each stem, at an angle to aid the uptake of water from the base of the stem, placing straight into the vase.
The stems will take up a lot of water in the first couple of days so keep an eye on the water level in your vase and add more as necessary.
Replace the water every 2 – 3 days.
Place your flowers in a cool, light spot, avoiding direct sunlight, heat sources and drafts.
Remove fading blooms from the vase.
